Privacy Policy
The short version: your numbers never leave your device. The long version is below.
Calculations happen on your device
Every calculator on MyTimeCardCalc runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. The hours, pay rates, salaries and paycheck figures you type are never uploaded, transmitted or stored on any server. We have no database of user calculations because there is nothing to put in one.
What is stored on your device
The Time Card Calculator saves your entries in your browser's local storage so the page can remember your time card between visits. That data stays on your device, under your control. You can erase it at any time with the "Clear all" button on the calculator, or by clearing your browser's site data. It is never sent to us.
Accounts and forms
There are no user accounts on this site and no sign-up. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you choose to send, and we use them only to reply to you.
Analytics and advertising
Like most websites, we may use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which calculators are popular, and we may show advertising through Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Those services may set cookies and collect standard technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) under their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics — policies.google.com/privacy
- Google AdSense — Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.
These services never receive the figures you type into the calculators — those stay in your browser, as explained above.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and reliability. We do not use them to identify individual visitors or combine them with calculator data (which we never receive).
Children
This site is a general-audience work tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
